Practical use
Start gently around neck and skull-base tension.
How it works
This area usually responds best to more precise, controlled pressure. Start light, stay around the tight tissue, and build only if it feels right.

Practical use
Start gently around neck and skull-base tension.
Recommended pressure type
Best starting point for this zone.
The base of the skull holds small, sensitive muscles that respond best to precise, controlled contact rather than broad pressure. A thumb point lets you target this tight band without pressing into bone or the spine.
Use safely
Begin with light pressure and increase gradually only while it remains comfortable. Stop if you feel sharp or increasing pain, numbness, tingling, dizziness, or unusual weakness.

How to use
Get Into Position
Sit or lie back
Rest against a chair, bed, or mat with support behind your head.
Find the spot
Locate the soft muscle just below your skull, beside the spine, not directly on it.
Place the point
Rest a thumb point into that muscle, staying off the spine and skull ridge.
Apply and Release
Settle in slowly
Let your head sink back so pressure builds gradually, not all at once.
Hold and breathe
Stay still for 20 to 30 seconds, breathing through any tightness.
Shift and repeat
Move slightly to find the next tender spot along the muscle.
